Emily's Italian Dessert: Florence Food Market 🇮🇹
■ ITALY, FLORENCE: After diving head first into more cow parts than I'd ever dared dream of, we continued to wander around Florence's 140 year old food court. Now we were on the lookout for dessert. We didn't have to search very long for after a few metres we stumbled upon an entertaining shopkeeper selling Cantuccini con Vino Santo. Essentially a hard biscuit you dip in your strong liquor of choice. After the biscuit disaster in my hotel room in Sri Lanka i was highly skeptical. Eventually I bowed to peer pressure and decided to indulge. ■ The name of Emily's shops is Altobio.it and is located on the ground floor where I ate all the other food. ■ If you want Martina to take you around this market to try all the same food I had, or you want a guided tour of Brunelescchi's dome, Palazzo Vecchio or any other museum, you can write her an e-mail through her website: http://www.sunflorencetours.it/
